New: Elvis Depressedly - Selfless Violence

The brevity of Matt Cothran’s referencing to Elvis Depressedly suggests that the August conceived side project was little more than a passing thought; certainly in relation to his usual emotively impressed lo-fi songs this new side project’s delving into spacey and ambient extended drone does seem fairly tangential. 

These 5-6 minute snippets of experimentation are ones which surely come from any guitarist and musician fascinated by the fringes of popular music - this EP is agreeable with the aesthetic of dark-wave avant-garde tribal shoegaze. The bass wallows in the low end depths with murmuring vocals, torn only by the occasional flutter of knife-edge overdrive and whirs of electronics.

The artwork is supplied courtesy of Warren Hildebrand of Foxes In Fiction, the music solely Matt Cothran of Coma Cinema, having felt inspired by recently moving in to a new home.
