Athletes - Fall Apart Denmark’s mysterious Athletes purvey a succinct and restrained post-punk package on their three songs to date; ‘Fall Apart’ is relentlessly beat driven and mechanical, retro guitar tones entwining with a pumped bass and muffled vocals engulfed in a reverb cloud. Its an understated winning formula shared across the band’s entire three song discography, just as shared between bands era Joy Division, Beach Fossils and most recently BF siblings Dive.
