Full Album Stream: Walls - Coracle (Kompakt)
Coracle, the second album from electronic duo Walls (aka Allez Allez + Banjo Or Freakout) is streaming now on This Music Wins following its release on 26th September.
Alessio Natalizia’s proven knack for dense arrangements and organic, guitar inspired fuzz certainly comes through - particularly following the rigid sample-heavy beginnings of Il Tedesco. Eventually, a loose and fluttering lead melody has waltzed some distance above the song’s driving rhythm, and noise has engulfed the mix. ‘Coracle’ is most comfortable at moments like this, though other highlights include that glockenspiel-like melody which introduces ‘Raw Umber/Twilight’. Other personal favourites include ‘Into Our Midst’, ‘Sunporch’ and ‘Drunken Galleon’. Enjoy.
Walls’ ‘Coracle’ is available to order now via Kompakt Records Store.
